naanuhea asked: How'd you develop your style???

Hey, that is actually a good and interesting question. To be honest, I don’t feel like I’ve settled on my own style just yet, but I do feel like I’m getting closer to where I wanna be in terms of style. I think I naturally absorb some of my favorite artists’ styles such as Hurst, Glen Keane, Milt Kahl, Miyazaki, Calder, Bill Peet, Jeff Turley, Shiyoon, Minkyu and many more. Something about their work just screams out to me. Perhaps a natural connection or some kind of relatability?….but I always get inspired by my friends as well and I’m sure their art would influence me in some ways, too.

kyusupa asked: I appreciate your art style so much. It's simple in a complex kind of way and you capture emotion so well. I aspire to be as talented as you in my own style of art. Best wishes!

Aw, thank you so much! Your kind words mean a lot to me especially since I always try to achieve everything that you listed. I wish you the very best and keep getting inspired by what life has to offer :)
